GRE Training Under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor

GRE Training Under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor : Higher Education Commission HEC Islamabad announces GRE (General) Training for Pakistani students under the US-Pak Knowledge Corridor initiative. 40 hours of training will be provided to the candidates. Those willing to apply for Ph.D. scholarships in US universities under the HEC US-Pak knowledge corridor can apply for the GRE Training.

Eligibility Criteria Of GRE Training Under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor :

 

  • Pakistani/ AJK nationals
  • Minimum four-year Bachelor degree {BS/BSc/6E (16 years formal education)}
  • Maximum one (1)2nd Division and no 3rd Division in entire academic career.
  • Potential students and Non-Ph.D. faculty aspiring for Ph.D. scholarship under US-Pak Knowledge Corridor initiative of HEC.
  • Maximum age on the closing date shall not exceed.
  • 38 years in the case of regular faculty members of Public sector Universities/ Govt Colleges and Researchers of approved/registered R&O Organizations. An evidence to this effect in the form of a letter, from the relevant employer (Organization), will be submitted by the applicant, once shortlisting has been made.
  • 33 years in all other cases
  • Must not be availing any Scholarship of HEC.
  • A concessional fee of RS 2500/– will be charged from participants for the whole training. The remaining amount of the training fee will be paid by HEC.
